"We take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone. We take photos to recall – with greater vibrancy – those experiences that have shaped and made us."
- Katie Thurmes, Artifact Uprising Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer
Some women feel naked when they leave home without their earrings or favorite shade of lipstick. For Liz it’s when she leaves home without her beloved Nikon camera. What started out as a passionate hobby to document her growing family quickly turned into a thriving photography business that brings her great joy.
In 2007, Liz landed her very first client who she continues to shoot every year for their family photos. After all, when you work with Liz you don’t just get a photographer; you get a new member of your family. She has an incredible way of putting adults at ease in front of the camera and can just as easily get a smile out of any spirited toddler for the perfect shot.
Over the years, Liz has had the opportunity to shoot countless families, events, and weddings. A proud small business owner herself, she also works with fellow entrepreneurs to market their businesses with her custom photography.
The love that Liz feels for photography shines through every photo she takes. She is truly honored when clients reach out to her to capture their lives through her lens.
Liz is located on the South Shore of beautiful Long Island, but serves the tri-state area and loves to travel across the United States and around the world to work with clients.
